WSET Level 1

The perfect starting point for anyone new to wine service or anyone who wants to feel genuinely confident talking about, pouring, and recommending wine to guests.

In one day, you’ll cover the essentials: the main types and styles of wine, key grape varieties and their characteristics, storage and service, and food and wine pairing. Practical, engaging, and no previous experience required.

Course pre-requisite: None.
G.U.E.S.T. Programme: Accredited as Specialist Unit 12.
Course length: 1 full day (08:45–17:30), with a 30-question in-person multiple choice exam at the end.

Booking deadline is two weeks before the course start date.

Cancellation & booking policy:

All courses, study materials and exams are in English.  Once registered, we cannot offer refunds but will transfer you to a future course if you’re unable to attend. Failure to attend once registered incurs a WSET unused exam paper penalty fee. All courses are managed by FWW Ltd (UK); prices are quoted in GBP inc. VAT.
