This course is designed to advance your skills and wine knowledge with an expert-led GUEST approved wine training course. We run our courses for yacht crew professionals in the French Riviera.   \n  \nCLICK TO ENQUIRE \n \nExpert-led GUEST accredited wine training for yacht crew on the French Riviera.\n \nAn introduction to wine\nThe perfect and most straight forward introduction to wine for those new to the industry or indeed wanting to better understand the fundamentals of grape growing\, wine making\, the main grape varieties\, storage and service and food & wine pairing\, with an emphasis on the practical. No experience or other qualifications are required to attend this course – it is also great fun! \nOne the course you will learn : \n\nThe key stages in grape growing and winemaking\nThe types\, characteristics and styles of wines made from the principal grape varieties and other examples of wines.\nThe key principles and practices involved in the storage and service of wine.\n\nFor more information on the course\, you can read the WSET Level in Wine Award Specification here: \nWSET Level 1 Specification \n \n  \nCourse Information\nCourse Pre-requisite: No previous qualification required so anyone can join us for this course. \nGUEST Program: Accredited as GUEST Program Specialist Unit 12. \nCourse Length: 1 full day (09h00 – 17h30) with a short exam at the end. \nCourse Fee: Please contact us directly for prices for the current Academic year. We run internationally recognised and accredited qualification courses for Yacht Crew and anyone interested in Wine. As we are primarily a wine supplier for yachts\, our courses take place in the Spring and Autumn when crew are less likely to be busy onboard. Your educator for this course will be Helen who holds the WSET® Diploma with Honours and is also a Certified Educator for WSET® so you are in very safe hands! Helen will be assisted by Amy who holds the WSET® Level 3 Award in Wine with Distinction.
