WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines (Advanced)
"Understanding Wines: explaining style & quality"
This qualification gives a more comprehensive coverage of the still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world, with an increased focus on tasting technique and evaluation, and on gaining greater knowledge than is required at WSET Level 2. It includes tasting and assessment of over 80 and represents one step further along the journey to wine knowledge heaven – designed to leave your palate and mind wanting for nothing in wine terms!
Candidates who have successfully completed the WSET Level 2 course (or equivalent) will be entitled to undertake the Level 3 course.
Course pre-requisite: Candidates are strongly advised to hold WSET® Level 2 (or equivalent)
Course length: 5 full days and one half day for Assessment & Exam – with a weekend break in the middle. Plus a minimum of a further 56 hours self study.
To achieve the Qualification, candidates must pass BOTH a Theory Paper and a Practical Assessment
